Mohamed believes that those who are fortunate have a responsibility to lift up those who are not. As a fourth-year Computer Information Systems student at the University of the Fraser Valley, he combines his technical expertise with a deep commitment to service. Through developing websites and apps, Mohamed has seen how technology can bridge gaps—but he also knows that real change requires hands-on effort. That is why he dedicates his time to fundraising and volunteering, ensuring opportunities reach those who need them most. Beyond his studies, Mohamed is an avid traveler and scuba diver, finding inspiration in exploring new places and perspectives. Whether coding, fundraising, or diving into new experiences, he approaches every challenge with the same drive: to create a world where privilege translates into progress for all.

Paul Saman is driven by one core belief: no young person should be left behind because of circumstances they did not choose. As a pre-law student studying political science at the University of the Fraser Valley, Paul has witnessed the silent struggles of youth around him—from high school to university—who lacked the support, resources, or guidance to thrive. This reality sparked the creation of YCCA (Youth Connect Center Association), a youth-led nonprofit committed to lifting up those who are often overlooked. For Paul, this is not charity—it is justice. Through mental health support, mentorship, skill-building, and community outreach, YCCA exists to help youth not just survive, but grow, lead, and succeed.

Peter Ghaly is a dedicated fourth-year Chemical and Biological Engineering student at the University of British Columbia. He brings a passion for service, leadership, and mentorship to the YCCA team. With a deep love for the outdoors, Peter enjoys hiking and exploring the beauty of different cultures through his travels. His experiences serving on mission trips with his church community reflect his strong commitment to living a life of service, inspired by his faith. His hands-on approach, strong network of connections, and extensive educational background equip him to support and guide students in both their academic and personal journeys. His enthusiasm for helping others, combined with his technical expertise and heartfelt dedication, makes him a valuable mentor and leader within the YCCA.

Pavly Youssef is passionate about empowering the next generation through education. With experience in administrative work, community service, and contracting, he understands the importance of providing young people with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. A dedicated philosophy student, Pavly believes that education is the foundation of critical thinking and personal growth. His background in volunteer work—including at Pope Kyrillos The Sixth Coptic Orthodox Church and SunRiver Dental—has given him firsthand experience in community outreach and service. Additionally, his experience working in contracting with Lopez Contracting has strengthened his problem-solving skills, work ethic, and appreciation for hands-on learning. Through his work in fundraising for youth education, Pavly strives to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity, ensuring that students have the support they need to thrive.
